Protecting Skin against damage due to Friction and Shear

The unique properties of Parafricta™ Fabric offer benefits that protect skin from damage:

• Low coefficient of friction. This reduces frictional damage to and breakdown of vulnerable skin. It also stops dressings from being detached due to friction.
• Absence of "stiction". The skin does not "jerk" whilst moving against Parafricta products, so the damage to the tissue below the skin is minimized.
